    The Ugly Truth at Community Ambulance Company

    The Community Ambulance is partnering with the Suffolk Police, Suffolk County Health Department and the Suffolk Medical Examiner’s Office to host the “The Ugly Truth” heroin & prescription drug education and awareness program at our building on Thursday October 26th starting at 7pm.

    This will allow for anyone who attends to obtain Nasal Narcan training/kits and bring unwanted medication for disposal.  We will also have several prevention programs and addiction experts on hand to answer any questions relating to how to help someone who is suffering or ways to prevent loved ones from becoming a victim of this epidemic.

    Presentations will be given by the Suffolk County Police Department Community Relations Bureau, Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office, Suffolk County Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and the Suffolk County Police Academy’s E.M.T.U.

    OPTIONAL NARCAN TRAINING INCLUDES FREE TAKE HOME KIT

    OPERATION MEDICINE CABINET

    Bring your expired or unwanted prescription medications for safe disposal by the S.C.P.D.

    Please remove pills from bottles/blister packaging and place in Ziploc type bag.  Liquids or syringes will NOT be accepted.

    ALL ARE WELCOME, APPROPRIATE FOR AGES 15 AND OLDER
