    Sayville Village Improvement Society First Meeting of Season

    The Sayville Village Improvement Society – SVIS – will hold its first meeting of the 2017-2018 season on Monday, October 2nd at 12:30 p.m. in the Gillette House at 47 Gillette Avenue, in Sayville.

    SVIS meets on the first Monday of the month and welcomes all ladies interested in joining to their open meetings.

    Founded in 1914, SVIS is a very active society. It promotes the beautification of Sayville, undertakes and promotes projects within the community toward that end, provides a scholarship for a local high school student, and encourages people to develop a pride in their hometown and work toward its well being.For further information , please call 631-567-3182.

They are: President: Grace Papagno, First Vice Presidents: Suzanne Robilotta and Pamela Raymond, Second Vice President: Barbara Fitzpatrick, Treasurer: Sheila Rettaliata, Recording Secretary: Joan Blair, Corresponding Secretary: Bernice Corbin, Board Members at Large: Patricia Brinkmann, Louisa Kieffer, and Isa Zale.
