    Do YOU know how to help your pet in an emergency? Learn the life saving skills needed to help your pet in an emergency while supporting the Islip Town Firefighters Museum!!

    Sunday, July 30th, 2017 – 12 – 4 PM Islip Town Firefighters Museum & Education Center, 4 Courthouse Drive, CI (across from Bethpage Ballpark).

    You save $20 off regular $85 fee with no further out-of-pocket expense for this fundraiser class!

    This class is designed for anyone with an interest in “pawtecting” the safety   and wellness of animals. Training is geared towards Pet Parents, Pet Care Professionals (Groomer, Sitter/Walker, Vet Tech), Animal Rescue Group Volunteers and Emergency Service Personnel (NO prior training or experience is required). Taught by a 25+ year seasoned pre-hospital care provider and educator, the class includes lecture, demonstration and an emphasis on handson skills practice to ensure your proficiency in the life saving skills presented. Hands-On Skills Practice Emergency Muzzling & Restraint ~ The “ABC”s of Pet Emergency Care CPR (Canine & Feline) ~ Rescue Breathing ~ Choking Management Bleeding Control/Shock Management Lecture Medical Emergencies (Seizures, ”Bloat”, Allergic Reaction, etc.) Heat & Cold Injuries ~ Poisoning ~ Pet Safety & Wellness.

    $65.00 per person (includes detailed handbook & certificate of completion)
