Join Friends of Connetquot, Great South Bay Audubon Society and NY State Parks Environmental Education Office at Connetquot River State Park Preserve for Breakfast and Birding.
While enjoying a free continental breakfast in this beautiful and historic park, there will be a short program which will introduce you to birds that may be seen in the park at this time. The Breakfast and talk will be followed by a walk through beautiful Connetquot Preserve accompanied by guides to find and identify the birds that may be permanent residents or migrating through the park on their way to northern nesting sites. The event will be held at, Connetquot River State Park Preserve, Sunrise Highway, Oakdale, Main Building.
Breakfast and Birding, “Meet the Migration”, Saturday, May 14, 2017- 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
