For more than 100 years, the Scouting program has prepared youth with character education, participatory citizenship, and values based on the Scout Oath and Law. Youth learn leadership skills and build confidence while becoming productive members of their communities. The programs of the BSA are diverse and provide opportunities for Scouts to gain life skills as well as explore new interests and activities.
