Ryan Yost and Boy Scouts Paint Wet Pants building for Service Project

Ryan Yost, a member of Boy Scout Troop 184 in Sayville led his troop in a much needed service project-the painting of the north side of the Wet Pants building.

With the heat and the condition of the previous paint, the scouts certainly had their work cut out for them!  With positive attitudes and determination, they scraped away the old paint and applied the new paint yesterday.

According to Boy Scout Law, a Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean and reverent.   These fine young men demonstrated all of these qualities. Their time and effort is sincerely appreciated by all!

A special thank you to Louis Albertelli for facilitating this project by connecting Ryan Yost to Wet Pants. Now we need to invite Ryan out on the water so he can enjoy some of the many benefits of Wet Pants! It truly is a special place and it means a lot that the Scouts have shown their support in such a way.

Thank you Ryan Yost and Boy Scout Troop 184!
