On June 12th Sayville Historical Society’s Afternoon on the Edwards Farm takes place from 2 to 5 pm.
It is great fun for young families and those who are young at heart. You can try your hand at grinding corn, churning ice cream, quilting and old-fashioned games. The baby farm animals are fascinating and the Home Grown String Band plays terrific high-energy music.
Admission is $1 per person or you can donate nonperishable food to help keep our local food pantries stocked. This event is funded in part by the County of Suffolk Parks Department.
The rain date is June 12th. Sayville Historical Society is located on Edwards Street at the corner of Collins Avenue, 1 block south of Main Street.
