    36th Annual Sayville Summerfest, August 7, 8 and 9

The 36th Annual Sayville Summerfest, sponsored by The Sayville Chamber of Commerce, is sure to be the best so far!

The event will have a new carnival operator: Newton Shows. They will bring a fresh new element of excitement and fun with new rides and games that families will love.

There’s always a tremendous amount of entertainment, with live music in all genres, fabulous food, the art show, craft vendors, and so much more.

Summerfest will also feature the last race of the Sayville Summer Series on Saturday, the morning of August 8th, the Hon. John P. Cohalan Sayville Summerfest 4 Mile Run and the famous car show on Sunday August 9th.

Don’t forget to bring your canned goods, and for TD Bank customers, bring you card to the TD Bank booth to get discounted tickets!

Walk around and visit the many wonderful vendors and watch the many performances scheduled throughout the day.

On stage in Gillette Park starting Friday at 5 pm will be a variety of bands, musicians, singers, dancers, theater groups, and a boat load of entertainers. Not only will all this entertainment be on the stage in Gillette Park, but the music will be heard in The Common Ground and downtown Sayville on Main Street.

Do you have questions about the Summerfest during the event? The information booth provided by the Sayville Rotary Club has your answer. They know everything that’s going on. They have a schedule of events to hand out for informational purposes. They’ll point you in the right direction.

The event will occur on several streets radiating from downtown – Main Street/Montauk Highway (CR 85), South Main Street, Gillette Avenue, Candee Avenue, Railroad Avenue as well as Rotary Park & the Common Ground, Gillette Park, & Sparrow Park.
